Mixing KCL & Dump GP Sand Formula

 Mixing KCL 2 %..

Like, 100 BBL water required ..


Then ... 100 BBL of water x 42 x 8:33 PPG gln / gln x 0.02% = 699.72 pounds

 So = 700 pounds made ​​100 BBL water = 700 : 100 = 7 sxs KCL = 150 BBL 

Water  =  +/- 10.5sxs


Note : 1 BBL = 42 gln 
           8.33 PPG = 62.4 PCF

KCL :  1 sxs = 100 LBS = 50 KG

Dump GP Sand 

1 sxs GP Sand = 4 gln

 Example  : CSG 7 # 23 = capacity = 0.0394 BBL /ft


0.1781 : 0.0394 = 4.5 ft / sxs

That would in dump = 20 ft , so 20 : 4.5 = 4.4 sxs, or 1 ft : 4.5 = 0.222 


If 20 ft to be in the dump, 20 x 0222 = 4.4 sxs

Note : 1 cubic/ ft = 0.1781 BBL
